چکیده

This paper proposes the bio-fabrication of a porous scaffold from selection procedure elements taking into account biological behavior, using magnesium (Mg) alloyed with calcium (Ca) and zinc (Zn). The proposed could work as treatment for specific pathologies in trauma oncology, on one hand, addition to possible applications osteosynthesis, through contrib-uting osseointegration infection control release drugs. Finally, another pos-sible attribute this alloy be its use complementary osteosarcoma; is due basification produced by oxidative degradation (attack cancer cells). evaluation cell viability an Mg - 25 wt% Ca 5 Zn will strengthen current perspectives clinical various treatments oncology. Considera-tions preparation morphological charac-terization help researchers understand applicability development new surgical techniques lead deeper investigation alternative treatments. However, it very im-portant bear mind mechanical effect such matrix; best predict biological-mechanical potential starts essential-nutritional their mi-cro-indentation fragility matrix. Therefore, specimens show crystallinity alloy; these results to-gether contribute design biomedical alloys medical spe-cialties. indicated that not affected, there are no changes cells.

Fabrication and characterization of the Ti-6Al-4V/Mg scaffold

Ti–6Al–4V scaffolds were fabricated by powder metallurgical space holder technique in this research. The most added magnesium (Mg) powder was evaporated and a skeleton of Ti-6Al-4V alloy was produced. For this purpose Ti-6Al-4V and Mg powders mixture compacted in a steel die by applying uniaxial pressure of 500 MPa before sintering the green product in a sealed quartz tubes at 900 °C for 2 hour...

Development of an antibacterial porous scaffold for bone defect treatment

Background & Aim: The use of bone scaffolds is one of the new and efficient techniques for repairing bone defects that provide a suitable platform for cell proliferation and growth to repair the target tissue. One of the most important causes of failure of transplants and surgical procedures is the invasion of bacteria at the site of the complication and the development of severe infection. The...

Hydrothermal Fabrication of Highly Porous Titanium Bio-Scaffold with a Load-Bearable Property

Porous titanium (P_Ti) is considered as an effective material for bone scaffold to achieve a stiffness reduction. Herein, biomimetic (bio-)scaffolds were made of sintered P_Ti, which used NaCl as the space holder and had it removed via the hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction results showed that the subsequent sintering temperature of 1000 °C was the optimized temperature for preparing P_Ti. ...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

development and implementation of an optimized control strategy for induction machine in an electric vehicle

in the area of automotive engineering there is a tendency to more electrification of power train. in this work control of an induction machine for the application of electric vehicle is investigated. through the changing operating point of the machine, adapting the rotor magnetization current seems to be useful to increase the machines efficiency. in the literature there are many approaches wh...
